Prof. Luis Felipe Medina Cabezas has studied at the University of Costa Rica, Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica, Universidad Santa Paula and Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir. He is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and holds a Master's Degree in Palliative Care and a Specialty in Electrotherapy.
In 1984 he joined the College of Physicians of Costa Rica and in 2013 the College of Therapists of Costa Rica.
He has 34 years of experience in Physical Rehabilitation of patients with some degree of disability.
His work performance has been performed in different specialized hospitals in his country Costa Rica as well as non-governmental non-profit organizations with Day Centers and Homes for the Elderly.
He has been part of the development of Centers of University studies training Physical Therapists in Costa Rica exercising the privilege of teaching as a titular teacher of innumerable undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
In 1996 he obtained his License for teaching as a Lecturer (Venia Legendi) # II-83-2275.
He has been Director of the School of Physical Therapy at the Universidad Santa Paula.
Director of the Master's Degree in Physical Therapy with Mention in Neurological Rehabilitation of the Santa Paula University, Director of the Master's Degree in Palliative Care, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Santa Paula University and Clinical Coordinator of the Santa Paula Integral Development Institute.
He has carried out activities with Director of Research and Thesis of degree for diverse professionals in Health.
He is currently Clinical Consultant for PHYSIOMED in Latin American countries performing academic support, therapeutic and advanced training in the use and application of PHYSIOMED equipment to users of New Technologies in rehabilitation in different countries.
